On Friday I got to have the funnest girls day. I went down to the Womens Conference with three friends from clear back. We all went to school together starting with junior high. Lindsay and I were best friends forever and had the best time together. We were always so silly and never stopped laughing. Now we each have two boys who are just about the same age and I love talking to her about our boys! Morgan and I were cheerleaders together and I have always loved her so much. She is so darling and is still single (how I do not know). She would be total catch and I would totally snag her if I was a guy and I wasn't already married :) I have also known Randi since junior high. She has the cutest and most contagious laugh ever! She is so cute and she married the funnest guy! Her husband always made me laugh so hard in high school. I am sure they are so cute together and have a very cute little boy.

We had so much fun together and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. It was so much fun to reminisce and talk about our current lives. All day long we kept bringing up our blogs. I love that we all can read eachother's and keep updated on what is going on in eachothers lives. It is such a fun way to stay in touch!

We got caught in terrible trafic so we decided to pull off to the mall and do a little shopping. It was such a fun day and I hope we make it a tradition to do it every year. I also hope to spend some more girl days like this more often. I need a little more friend time in my life. It makes me feel like I can be more than a wife and a mother but more importantly it makes me feel like I can be a better wife and mother to my three boys. Thanks Lindsay, Morgan and Randi- I love you guys!

Laura that was one of the funnest days I have had in a long time! It was so fun to catch up and to hear all about your boys and what a good mom you are! Hope you weren't up all night getting stuff ready for the party! We need to get together again soon!
Back at ya! That was such a fun day. Moms need time away from their children and hubbies, and what you said is so true...it does make you a better mom and wife to be away from your family because you realize how much you love them and what they mean to you. It's official...womens conference is our new tradition!
