Happy Birthday Kolt!

Kolt had a crummy birthday on Thursday. He has been so sick all week with a high fever and throwing up. He did finally start to feel better Saturday just in time for his party.
What a little sport to let mom put a dumb hat on me that I can't take off because it is elasticed to my head.
I made Kolt a tractor cake. It was a hit and the kids loved it. I do have a new found respect for cake decorators. It is alot harder than it looks and my cake was simple. I am definately enrolling in a cake decorating class so I can better my non existant skills.

He was so funny eating his cake. He first picked off the gummy candies and just ate them one at a time. He then ociked up the cake with both and hands and took a big old bite. He ate a little and then he started throwing it everywhere. He was really enjoying himself until he got the frosting up his nose. He must have got a lot up there because I am still getting a little out today. His nose will run and it will be a light shade of bright yellow.

He didn't know what to think about opening presents. He really just wanted to play with one toy and not keep opening more. I think he was kindof overwhelmed. The big hit of the presents was the:
Now he has his own four wheeler just like his big brother.
(sorry about the upside down pics, I can't get them to turn upright (any suggestions)
I love his expression in this one. The toy has a music button on it and everytime he would push it he would start dancing. It was so dang cute! I can't believe my baby is one. Where did a whole year go? It makes me appreciate being able to stay home with my babies and soak in as much as them that I can. Time flies and before I know it they aren't going to like me anymore and will be embarrased of me. I wish I could bottle up the love Kolt has for me now. He is such a mommies boy and I love his big fat wet kisses and big snuggles so much. I love you Kolt and I hope you had a wonderful birthday.

I had the same problem with my pictures. When you view them on your computer turn them and then save them, they may save that way when you get out of the picture...
By the way I am Jaime's sister. Love your blog and love the recipes.

That cake is SOOOOOO cute! Even cuter than I was picturing. I love it! I love his 4-wheeler. Ashton has the same one so maybe Kolt and Tayler can go riding together someday.
About the pictures, when you plug your camera into the computer, go to MY COMPUTER and open up the pictures from your camera. There should be an option to rotate once you double-click on the pic. Then save it and import it into your blog from wherever you saved it. That is the only way I know how to do it. Blogger doesn't have any photo editing options that I'm aware of. Hope that made sense.
