Crystal Springs

Camping has redeemed itself from last weekend. We headed up to Crystal Springs this weekend with some friends. It was such a blast. We just parked in a field and made a big circle with our ten trailers. Between all of us there was about 15 kids and Bodee had so much fun. I didn't hardly see him the whole weekend because he was just running and playing with his new friends. We only went swimming one day for about 30 minutes. I was a little leery of the pool because it was mineral water and looked so yucky. We really didn't need to swim because we were too busy relaxing and feeding our faces with such yummy food. I swear I don't need to eat for 3 weeks. We had such a good time and hope to make it a yearly tradition.
Kolt loved Kensley's bike she got for her birthday.

Sitting around the campfire.

Bodee caught his first trophy carp. There was a little pond just over the hill from where we were camped and the kids had blast fishing for carp

Kolt thinks he needs to fish just like his big brother.

Bodee reeling in his big lunker. He caught this sucker with a piece of bread for bait.

We enjoyed putting some pennies on the train tracks and then going back to get them after they were smashed. Kennedy said, "This is the best day of my life" as we were picking them up. Pretty funny what kids think are the best things in life. It makes me smile that it is the simple things that make them the happiest.

On Sunday it was warm enough for the kids to play in the water a little bit. We intended for this baby pool to entertain the 1 and under crowd. But......
It ended up entertaining the whole herd of kids.

I think at one time there was seven kids in this tiny little pool.

On Sunday night Tammy let the kids do a pinata. It was so funny. I think the adults enjoyed just as much as the kiddos. Kolt even got to be on the candy picking up.

Bodee didn't break it open but he did give it some damage. Thanks everyone for the fun fun weekend. We really enjoyed it!
