Jam Baby!

Jody and I made 61 bottles of jam today. That is right 61 jars! We had quite the assembly line going with Katie, Jerra, Hannah, EJ and Bodee helping us. The girls were actually alot of help but not so much Bod and EJ. It turned out so good Jerra couldn't keep her fingers out of it! Looks like we are having PB &J's for dinner quite often for the next while. Thanks Linda for the awesome recipe. If you want to try it here it is:

One batch
4-6 cups mashed peaches
2-containers or cups raspberries (we used raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and a couple batches with just peaches)
4 1/2 cups sugar
Let the above boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 6 oz of Raspberry Jello Gelatin (or Jello of choice if you use different fruit). Stir until Jello is disolved and then pour into your jars and seal. We are letting ours sit for 24 hours and then put it into the freezer.

you look so skinny in that picture at the reunion, see you need to keep walking with me! I saw the jam picture and was overwhelmed at how many jars there were. Wow, we really made all of that. I put some in the fridege tonight and it set up just fine! Guess what we had for dinner? Best jam I ever tasted and Jerra was licking her fingers! Love ya, Jody
