We hit the road again this weekend and went to Lava with our neighbors and friends the two Fowers fams. We had so much fun! I left Kolt with my mom for a baby free wekkend. It was very nice to be able to just relax and have fun. Bodee is old enough to just run and play and not have to worry about naps. I enjoyed it but I sure did miss Kolt! I haven't stopped kissing his fat legs since we got home. The weather was nice, not hot but definately not cold. 
Matt thinks this shirt I got him makes him looks gay. So he was being a nerd and posing on a purple dinasaur.
Taking a walk. Obviously I made the kids hold hands for the picture but don't they look cute? There were some brave souls who were tough enough to float the freezing river. Scott, Matt, Lexie, Katie, Jerra, Jody, Thane, Kenzie and even EJ were man enough to do it. Tracy and I are wimps and decided to just watch and yell "SHRINKAGE" from the river banks.

My husband being the awesome wildlife photographer he is spent 20 minutes and about 500 pictures on this stupid squirrel. He couldn't believe how big its uh male parts were or as he called it it's twig and berries.

Hannah and Bodee riding the snake at the water park. The water was so warm and nice. It is a very clean and nice facility. All the kids were talking some major smack about going off the high dive. Matt called their bluff and said he would pay anyone 20 bucks who went off of it but they had to pay him 10 every time they went up but chickened out and came back down. Well Scott is the only one manly enough to jump. Katie did go off the second platform but didn't venture up to the third. Jody was the only one to do the walk of shame. But I wouldn't worry about paying up Jody, Matt is full of bologna! Thanks guys for such a fun weekend, we will have to make it a tradition!

You've been taking advantage of summer fun. I haven't been to Lava for years. Looks like a lot of fun. And how nice of your mom to take Kolt for you. I'm sure you enjoyed your weekend a lot more. I can't believe that Kolt is talking so much. I think it has something to do with being a second child. They seem to catch on more quickly.
I haven't seen Lava Hot Springs for years. That looks like so much fun. It looks like the perfect summer getaway.
