Lagoon-It's What Fun Is

Our neighbor Thane gets tickets for Lagoon for his work. He was nice enough to give me his ticket so Jody and I could take the kids to Lagoon yesterday. It was a blast. We talked ourselves into getting our photo done in Pioneer Village. It was so fun and the kids loved getting dressed up. Bodee and EJ were bank robbers and looked so stinkin cute. I wanted to steal the costume so I could make a replica for Halloween. Bodee had so much fun (except a few minor mishaps, like the Rattle Snake Rapids). We had to come home early or else I think we would have stayed all night! We even rode the front runner down. It was pretty cool and I think the kids enjoyed it. But, I think we will just drive down next time and save ourselves about an hour in wasted time. Once we got off the front runner we walked to the UTA bus, rode the bus to the front of Lagoon and then of course walked all the way in. It was good to do once for the experience but I think I prefer driving. Gotta try everything once. Thanks Grandma Dawn for keeping Kolt. He would have been miserable in the 102 degree weather and everything just seems alot easier when you are not pushing a stroller with a fussy, tired, hot baby in it. Thanks again Thane for giving up your ticket and thanks to Jody and the kids for such a fun day!
