Somehow my little boy has turned into a big boy without my knowledge. I am not completely aware of how this happened. I was always a little nervous that I was raising a sissy who was afraid of EVERYTHING. This summer everything has changed. 
He would rather spend all of his time with his friends rather than me or his dad.
He has sleepovers with his friends and has never once been scared or wanted to come home.
This past weekend Thane and Jody took Bodee and I boating with them. I just knew Bodee would be so scared and cry the whole time. But, from the picture you can see he was far from scared. He got right on the tube and within 2 minutes he was standing up and surfing on the tube. The whole time all we heard was giggling, laughter, more and faster!
He has even decided he doesn't need his life jacket or a floaty in the pool. He jumps from the side and from the tramp into the pool. Just last summer I had to beg him to get into the pool. I guess four is the magic number for bravery! I do not need to worry anymore about raising a sissy, now I just need to start on some ulcer medication. I think watching him do all these crazy, dangerous things is going to give me ulcers!
