Every year the kids and I make salt dough feet ornaments. Today we made this years. I wish I would have started this on Bodee's first Christmas. But, we learn as we go right?

Last night I was in Roberts looking at their beautifuly decorated trees feeling sad for myself. I was sad because I love to have a pretty tree but my tree this year is a wreck. Kolt pulls off every single ornament and then Bodee gets angry with him. Bodee then proceeds to take the ornaments and chuck them to the top of the tree. So all of my ornaments are sitting in a clump at the top if they weren't already broken by Kolt. But today my mind set changed as we put up our reindeer feet ornaments. While I was in the shower the boys suprised me by putting yellow sunflowers all over the tree. Bodee said, "Mom, come look at how Butiful (this is how he says beautiful) our tree looks and look how good Kolt is doing!" I am not jealous anymore of those with fabulous trees because mine is butiful in its own special way. Yellow sunflowers and all!

So cute, to hell with those pretty trees, there will be time for that! Soon we will be trying to out do each other and the kids will be off dating. Then I we will have to look forward to is making sure we have the prettiest tree and not enjoying breakfast pizza on a Saturday morning! Love ya Jody
