Yes, I was one of those crazy ladies today. Although I don't qualify myself as "one of those" because I don't know what I am doing and I end up getting nothing that I went for. I was at Shopko at 4:30 this morning and ended up almost last in line outside that wrapped clear around the back of the building from both doors! The lady behind me told me not to get a cart because you can't run as fast. As soon as you got in the door it was a madhouse! I went for some board games and they were literally gone by 15 seconds after the doors opened. People were grabbing them so fast that the boxes were coming open and stuff was flying everywhere. The people that did have carts would park them in the middle of the isle and block it so people were shoving and I saw one guy just jump a cart. Then after I got what little merchandise I was able to snag I waited in line just to check out for one hour! INSANE! I then headed over to Wally World and of course there was nothing left but the poor merchandises remains. My friend Jody got to Walmart this morning at 1:30 AM. Now she is a diehard veteran and I salute you Jody! So I went back to Walmart later this afternoon thinking they might have restocked some of the items that I wanted, but no. So I drove to another Walmart, no luck. Moral of my story is I got my fat butt out of bed at 4:00 this morning, wasted $40 worth of gas driving around to "score" and get about $8 off of what I wanted! To top it all of is that I am done with all of my shopping but some family members asked if I would just buy my kids a present for them. Once again I show my sheer brillance to the world! I think next time I will spend the extra 8 bucks!

I am so done with the Friday morning thing too. So this year I sat home and did some online shopping and I kid you not there are just as many great deals. Today there were Monday deals. There was this tractor in Sams Club ad for $180. It was a door buster. Online they go from $250 on up. But today on bizrate.com I got the exact same tractor for $149. I was thrilled! I love a good deal. Seriously I think online shopping is the only way to go. You save time, money, and you don't have to deal with the crowds.
