Happy Halloween

We have a had a fun filled Halloween week or month I guess you could say. It started out with Bodee's cute little preschool program where they sung all their Halloween songs for us with actions. It was so cute and I attempted to video record it and I am such a ding bat I sat their videoing it without ever pushing record. Duh!
We started out Halloween morning with making sugar cookies and letting the kids decorate them. Kolt thought just eating the frosting out of the tub was the best part.

We then made Carmel apples. This was my first attempt ever at doing so and it is harder than it looks. I desperately wanted them to look pretty like they do at the candy shops but no such luck. How do they make them look so gorgeous? Jody then headed outside with the kids to carve pumpkins. I came out a little later and took a look at their masterpieces. You should have seen Bodee's that he did ALL by himself. It was AWESOME. He took a scraper and took all the skin off so it looked like a skeleton with just his bones showing. So cool! Sorry Thane and Jody for his huge mess!

We then headed to Trunk or Treat. Katie was kind enough to take Kolt around. He was a rooster but wanted nothing to do with his hat. He also wanted to sit down and eat every piece of candy he received after he got it. In this picture he is looking at the costume walking by him like what in the he** is that.
And still what the he** was that?

Bodee and his buddy Cole, the two dirt bike racers.

This was my attempt at getting one picture of my rooster with his hat on. As you can tell it did not go over very well.

Aren't they cute? We had a wonderful Halloween. Thanks to all our great friends who helped us make it that way. We love you!
