Kolt attended his first day of preschool today with his new hermit crab in tow. He was obviously way too cool for his mom to take a picture of him even when I tried to bribe him! He said he was to tired for photos! That is famously Tote. He is 4 years old and weighs 50 pounds. He wears a size 5/6 and a size 13 shoe. He is BIG. Kolt is what some might call a little strange but I call him SPECIAL. He listens to only what he wants to listen to and he ONLY does what he wants to do. He hates clothes and is naked the second he walks in the door. He quite often is found outside or in the street naked. He never ever wears shoes, the kid could walk on hot coals and nails at the same time. We have tried everything to cure the nakedness but nothing works. He always says he is hot and sweating. Kolt is a wanderer too. He often just does his own thing and walks off to wherever he wants and doesn't care to tell anyone where he is going. Ball games is where we spend a majority of time now and Kolt just gets out of the car and takes off minus shoes of course. He shows up intermittently to receive food or money to go buy food. Again which he is not afraid to do himself. The only thing to keep him under control that I haven't done is buy one of those stupid leashes people put on their kids! But surely he would get out of it and probably find a stray animal to strap it too. Kolt loves to ride his dirt bike and thank goodness he doesn't know how to get it out of first gear. He loves to catch bugs, frogs, snakes, or anything gross and put it in a jar and keep it in his room. Our newest creature is a hermit crab in which he put in the tub with him this morning. He loves to play in the dirt, mud, sand or anything else that requires a bath and for me to do more laundry. We tell Kolt that he swallowed a microphone because he is soooo LOUD! His whisper is about 40 times louder than a normal speaking voice. He is also very excitable and gets even louder when that happens! Totemous (his newest nickname) loves to play with Bodee and his kids as he calls them. But like mean other brothers do he and his friends tease, chase, and try to hide from him. Kolt is constantly saying, " Mom where is the kids?" And when Bodee does happen to play with him Kolt ends up squealing or crying! Oh and his screaming voice is AWESOME too! Why can't brothers just be nice? Kolt loves to play computer games and his Nintendo DS and the Wii. He loves to come to work with me and clean and play the computer, hang clothes up and buy snow cones. Kolt loves to go to the grocery store and tries to put every item in the world in the cart, I really could use a pair of handcuffs. He also pauses the TV and comes and gets me to show me every toy commercial to inform me he needs one of those. Kolt is so different from Bodee. Bean rode his bike without training wheels when he was three years old. Kolt loves his training wheels and has informed me he will have them still when he is as big as me. He likes sports but isn't obsessed with them like his brother. His first soccer game is this Saturday so we will see how that goes or if he just leaves the field and heads to the snack shack. Kolt brings so much laughter into our lives and those around us! He definitely is a funny kid! We love him so much and you know what I love the best is he still loves me and will give me hugs, kisses, and snuggles! Love you Tote Goat!Wednesday, September 7, 2011
