We have had a very fun and busy Fourth of July weekend. Friday we decided to go to Evanston for some fireworks and then drove to Oakley for their famous 4th rodeo. It is sad to say that my kids have never even seen a rodeo. Matt's aunt and uncle Kaelynn and Frank were here from Logandale so we got to hang out and visit with them. Bodee and Kolt got to play with their cousins Dillan and Casyn. Bodee is in love with Dillan and every time I try to tell him that she is his cousin he insists that she is not.

Bodee liked the whole rodeo especially the bulldogging but their was a motorcycle act and of course that stole the show.

The next morning we headed bright and early to Plain City for their 4th festivities. I must say it was very fun and they blow Hooper out of the water.

Bodee got a sour piece of candy.
They had a fish scramble where they dumped 500 trout into this make shift pond and the kids got to catch them with their hands. It was hilarious!
Kolt thought his fish was fancy. That is his new word and everything he likes is "fancy".

Bodee went down the water slide and jumped int he bounce houses for hours on end.
Matt and Flint did the ATV polo derby but do to a stupid deflating balloon missed out on the championship round by one team.
The next day we took a ride up middle fork canyon with Papa, grandma, and Cheyenne. We rode up and then stopped to fish and eat lunch. Bodee did so awesome on CJ and Kolt was just a little trooper even though he had to play musical horses because they were acting naughty.

Bodee was the great fisherman of the day catching the most by far.
The kids found part of the stream that was swimmable and we couldn't get them out. They both had to ride home naked needless to say! We had such a fun weekend! I love the 4th of July!
