Matt is officially O L D today! The big 30! That is alot of candles on that cake. I made the famous triple layer carrot cake and it was so yummy (see recipe below)! We sang Happy Birthday and then the big party animal Matt went to bed. I guess his age is really getting to him. Bodee is having a really hard time with it being someone elses birthday and not his. He knows his birthday is June 23rd but he doesn't get that it is 2 months away. All he can talk about is his birthday pirate party and how EJ and Karston are invited because they are his best friends. He told me that only boys can go so Hannah cannot come. He even said I can't come because I am a girl too. I guess he will have a hard time having a party without the planner/coordinator/cook/entertainer/cleanup crew known as myself.

Bodee had a glass of chocolate chips he was eating and he spilled them. I got angry and told him to pick up every single one of them (they were even the mini ones). Kolt rushed (or bum scootched) right over and started picking up every one of them and putting them back into the cup. It was totally cute and I was pretty proud that I have at least one child who listens.

I didn't realize our hubbies were just days apart. I love that last pic and comment about Kolt picking up the choc chips. He is so cute! I'm sure he knew if he helped clean up you'd give him a couple. Oh wow, I just realized he turns ONE this week. Happy Birthday you stinkin' cute chubby little chunk!!!
