Kolt wants to stand up and run so bad. He is very close to crawling he just cannot figure out how to kick his one leg back and take off. He still bum scootches across the whole floor to get what he wants but he is very frustrated. I took away the walker yesterday and put it up. I think that is why it is taking he so long. He didn't need to learn to crawl because he knew he had an alternative. Last night in the tub he grabbed the side and pulled himself almost to standing and then again in his crib. So I lowered the mattress so he couldn't fall out. I am also trying to let him figure it out on his own too. If he does get frustrated and starts crying I let him be for a while and see if he can do it. It is very hard not to rush over and pick him up but he has to figure it out. We are going camping this weekend and I want him to moving so he will be able to entertain him self a little and I don't have to hold him 24-7. We are going to the Sand Dunes and Bodee is so excited. Today he wanted to go get his four wheeler nice and shiny as he said. Pretty cute! He will have a blast!
Kolt also is getting a mouthful of teeth. Last week he got is upper right eye tooth and his front right tooth. Both his upper left eye tooth and front left tooth are so close to popping through. So in addition to mom being a meany and taking the walker away and making him learn to move on his own, his mouth is super ouchy! Poor kid!

The joys of teething. Do you use teething tablets? They work like acharm for my kids.
