So I stepped outside this morning and oh my gosh burr! It is freezing so I just have to post about what a beautiful day yesterday was. It was like 60 degrees and so gorgeous! The kids and I just had to play outside all day. We went 4-wheeling just around the pastures and can I just say I think Kolt was born to ride. He loved every second of being on the 4-wheeler. We went down to the slew and Bodee threw rocks in the water. He could do this for hours if I would let him. Then we had to go to this certain tree over on the neighbors property and look for seeds. I don't have a clue what kind of seeds we were looking for but Bodee insisted that they were there. He was digging through the cow manure and horse manure and dirt and weeds looking for these specific seeds. It was really gross but I have learned to pick my battles and usually if it keeps him entertained I let him do it. Then we came to the house and swang. I hooked up the swing to the horse walker and let the kids swing. Bodee thought it was scary but Kolt dug it and Bodee thought it was cool for Kolt to do it. What a beautiful day and how lucky am I to be able to be at home enjoying it with my kids!

I love that you spent that quality time with your kids. I too thought the weather was gorgeous, but other than raking a few leaves with Ashton, didn't take the time to play outside with my kids. What a perfect day to go for a walk and play outside. Don't know if we'll have many more of those. Dang!
