So I had a brilliant idea of letting the kids paint with pudding yesterday. They all started out painting with just their fingers, being very careful. Then they painted with their hands, next their feet, and by the end they were all in their underwear rolling around in it. Then I told them to go wash their hands and feet in the hose. What a brilliant idea on my part. This turned into a huge water fight. Needless to say I sent Ethan and Hannah home naked with all of their clothes in the wash. I hope their parents aren't mad at me, but they sure had fun!
We went back to the pumpkin patch with Keri and her kids. Kohl and Bodee had a bawl playing in the corn box. Bodee loved the slide but would only go down backwards (what a geek). The kids all got pumpkins and little Kolt fell asleep in dads arms on the hayride (very top pic).
Bodee and Kevin held hands the whole hayride. I don't know how Kevin got him to hold his hand because he sure won't hold mine.
So the pumpkin patch led to a funny conversation between Bodee and I today.
Bodee: I got a big fat pumpkin at the pumpkin patch mom.
Me: I know, I like big fat pumpkins.
Bodee: (lifting up his shirt) Mom, I am big and fat like you! I have a baby in there.
Me: Oh ya, is it a boy or a girl?
Bodee: A girl.
Me: What are you going to name it?
Bodee: Kolt
Me: When are you going to have it?
Bodee: Pretty soon, and then I won't be fat anymore. Mom, why are you still fat?
Talk about honest. I guess that is the beauty of kids they never lie!

For rude! Teach that boy that he should never call a girl fat. :) I'm going to start calling him Britt.
Laura, don't you know that fat rolls and stretch marks from having a baby are called "battle wounds" and they are cool!
